The Florida Trip Video

Here's the compilation video of our Florida adventure. Enjoy!

Jack entertains himself ...

Have you ever been bored in the car? Jack has.
He entertains himself sometimes, thereby entertaining us too.
We were in the drive through at Nana's Frozen Custard in Hixson on
Sunday afternoon waiting for our tasty treats.

The next video is of Jack playing the drums.
Except it's not the drums, it's the bakers rack in the den.
This is from May, and you might turn your volume
down a bit for this one.

The latest videos...

We have a great dog. She really puts up with a lot of being messed with from Jack, as you can see from the video, and she's never chewed any of his toys or clothes! That's major for her...She did pee on our new carpet though, so that's a few demerits, but overall she's still an important part of the family. The next video shows Jack's crawling speed (which is too fast) and the last one shows that he's a gadget man like his Daddy already. Enjoy!

Imagine if you will...

...this picture with lots of whining and pulling of the pant leg!
Jack is getting a little needy when it comes to Momma.
He wants her bad; which is good except when she's trying to cook Jack's Dad some brownies!

Florida Vacation 2008 Part 2

More pictures from the Florida vacation...

It only looks like I'm scraping my chest off in the sand.
I'm actually scraping my chest off on a skim board in the sand.

Jack liked the sand pretty well. The ocean? Not so much.

He did like the pool and really enjoyed his float.

Dad, Mom, and Jack getting ready for some breakfast.

He is a great boy and loads of fun. Wow.

We were walking along a row of shops and restaurants,
and you know what I realized?
Cats aren't dumb.

Gone fishin...

During the Florida vacation, I talked Jack's Grandpa, Andy, into going fishing with me. I am a very amateur fisherman, and Andy is not a fisherman at all as far as I knew. So of course, he proceeded to catch twice as many as I did, and the only keepers of the day between the two of us! Here are the pictures which tell our Big Fish Story:

Early on, Andy took a quick lead of 2 to zilcho, and never looked back!
He was a good sport though, and didn't rub it in.

The days' catch of Red Snapper from several guys on the boat.
I spent most of the trip untangling my line from everyone else's line. Jeez.

I did catch a few 'big ones' but they were not good for eating.
This big fella also bled all over me. Fun.

The tour guides could fillet 20lb of fish in about two minutes. Crazy.

A good time was had by all! We're just glad we made it to shore safe and sound.
I recommend it to anyone. We went with Harbor Walk and we had a great time.

The Florida Vacation 2008 Part 1

Well, the Turners had another adventure this past week and this time our path led to sunny Blue Mountain Beach near Destin, Florida. We had a great time and stayed at a beautiful place named the Adagio. Enjoy the pictures...
