A couple more funny Jack videos to watch.

Here, he plays a great secretary...

He's perfected the broad jump before he's even two years old!

Has your child ever been excited to eat?

I'm sure they have. Jack usually is.

Baa Baa Black Sheep

As read by Jack Turner...

He's saying "Cocksley, Cocksley..."
or at least that's what it sounds like, and he's using a British accent!

Here's another version...

Jack and the beanstalk.

Just kidding! It's actually "Jack and the magic ball."
And this little story happened not that long ago
at a place very very near.
Namely, the Creative Discovery Museum.
You know I'm going to get a lot of mileage out of that whole
"Jack and the...fill in the blank" and I'm looking forward to it!

Congratulations to the Lamberts!

Congratulations to our friends Nick and Jennifer!
Do you see what is in the picture?

That's right folks! TWO!
The lucky Mom is looking forward birthing
these babies in the spring of 2010,
please keep them in your prayers.

Turner House as of June 21st

This is the house as it looks now. The yard has been leveled and all of the major holes have been filled in. The back yard was a major jungle of gotcha-vines and weeds, but now looks almost ready for grass seed. The siding is a little more blue than we expected, and a little less slate/grayish, but it's growing on us.

Jack surveys the back yard.
Garden tub in the master. The tile looks nice, and will look even better when it's clean.
Formal dining room with the moldings in and partially completed paint.
Shower in master bath. Looks good so far, we can't wait for the finished product. There is something big done almost every day.

Last 2 weeks of May

The drywall is in, and boy is it exciting! It doesn't make the house look smaller, it just helps to define the spaces a little more. Also, it is a huge mess. How do they ever get all of this stuff cleaned up enough to sell?!

This picture is of the kitchen, coming in from the garage, through the mudroom. Notice the nice hardwood floors and the fancy granite counters.

This is a view of the foyer, from the great room.

Latest front view of the house;
notice the shaker-shingled gables and the well-manicured lawn.

The attached storage room is on the left,
and that rickety looking thing in the middle
is going to be a screened-in patio.
We don't like skeeters.

Jack and Turk are getting along better now.
Instead of growling, Turk just takes it.
I guess he's getting with the program.
Jack does kiss him a lot too - it's not all headlocks!
