Latest pic of the Turner Estate

You know it might be a bad day when...

Leslie goes to fix her oatmeal (like she does every day) and it turns out like this:

The House

Well, we've been in the house for a little over 3 weeks now, and we are settled in. I hung mirrors in the master bath last night, and only had to hang each one twice to get them right! We haven't had success with picking out rugs for that bathroom yet, and we've bought and returned about 12, so wish us luck with that. We did the same with the mirrors, and that's a fiasco that we were happy to bring to an end.

The grass is growing great with all the rain and the irrigation system (wow). I've mowed twice so far, and it's a nice feeling.

Turns out we're not the only Blue house on the street anymore, someone has built one up the road from us, but it is a lighter shade, and not as handsome as our Evening Blue.

To finish things off, here's a picture of Jack, outside looking in!

Jack's Two Year Photo Shoot

Jack had his 2 year-old photo shoot with Aunt Emily estprints.com and they turned out pretty nice. Here's the link to the album: http://picasaweb.google.com/TurnerFamilyTimes/JackTwoYearsOld?feat=directlink

And here's one that we took at of Jack and Mommy at Jack's friend Meredith's b-day party.

What a great day!

We had a little party on Saturday to celebrate Jack's 2nd birthday,
and it was great. Thanks again to everyone who came.
Here are some pics from the day.
Elmo was very tasty.

Jack is about to leap into action.

A lot of Turners on the couch. We missed you Gavin- you would have made the picture complete. Get well soon!

Happy 2nd Birthday Jack

GrammyPatti made some delicious brownies
and Jack blew out his candle like a pro on Thursday night.
It seems like we just had him yesterday but here he is,
a big bouncing 33lb bowling ball of a boy.
He is so great and well loved by all his family.

Here we see Jack making his approach.

In this view, we see Jack using the 'no-hands' technique.

I don't know what a sugar-rush looks like in your child, but here's our version!

He would've eaten the candle too,
if we would have stopped taking it away from him.

**Major Announcement**

NO, Leslie is not pregnant! You're all so crazy!

JACK PEE-PEE'D IN THE POTTY TODAY

Here are the pics to prove it.

Latest House Picture

Well, here she is. The garage door is on, the concrete is poured, the siding is complete (despite that piece above the window) and the hardwood floors are in. Carpet and a few other details like the sod and appliances will come soon, and gosh...then we'll be IN!

By the way, call Kelly at Pratt if you're thinking about building a house.
Dude,the Pratt operation is a well-oiled house-building machine.
